About ACE

Your system. Our expertise. Right solution.

Since 1991, Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE) has been working with manufacturing and engineering professionals in every aspect of process control, manufacturing automation, and system integration. From platform selection and design, to start-up, validation, and final documentation, as an independent systems integrator, ACE helps customers select the right solution and then implement it on time and on budget.

Reputation Says It All

Many companies talk about their reputation, but here’s the proof of our success: our customers. Once a customer does business with us, they come back – contracting our services for additional control system integration projects and long term support. This loyalty has turned into meaningful growth as we have repeatedly been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the top growing private companies in the industry.

The Right Expertise and Experience

Our integration experience spans all levels – machine/process, plant and enterprise. The majority of our staff are degreed engineering professionals with backgrounds in chemical, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, computer engineering, and computer sciences. We have hired graduating engineers every year since 1994 – many of whom are still with us and form the core of project management and technical leadership. ACE also attracts highly-experienced, mature engineers who enjoy the interesting work and the opportunity to work with our younger staff. This unique blend of talent means we get it – we know you can’t afford downtime, extended startups, misconfigurations and cost overruns. With over 100 employees in seven locations, we have both the depth and breadth of expertise and experience to provide both in-project and project-to-project continuity.

Support When & Where You Need It

Nine days before Thanksgiving, a Fortune 100 company called an ACE Project Manager at home to see if we could supply an engineer to assist with loop checks following the Katrina rebuild. They needed five people, but hoped ACE could supply only one or two. Less than 36 hours later, ACE had five experienced process control engineers on site, working straight through the weekend to get the job done.

With offices in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Texas, ACE is committed to serving our customers needs both locally and worldwide.
