FOR RELEASE: August 15, 2002 Newark, DE – Paul S. Fruehauf, P.E., one of three founding partners of Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE) in 1991, will retire at the end of June. Paul plans to continue his engineering practice on a limited basis, subcontracting to ACE and working alone. Paul was instrumental in building ACE from the ground up. In addition to his engineering achievements, Paul contributed to engineering management, corporate management and sales. Paul helped build ACE to its current state of three offices and 65 employees. ACE spent several months working to ensure a smooth management and financial transition. Both Paul and ACE intend to continue a close relationship. Paul’s expertise in dynamic simulations, plant tuning and training will continue to be in demand. Incorporated in 1991, ACE intends to continue its growth in New England and the Mid-Atlantic States. ACE serves a broad customer base in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, consumer products, food & beverage, metals and air separation industries. ACE was named to the Inc. 500 in 1999.
