FOR RELEASE: March 2007 Newark, DE; Taunton, MA – Applied Control Engineering, Inc., an engineering firm that develops factory automation systems, announces the opening of their fifth full service engineering office in Taunton, Massachusetts. This office will be part of the New England region and will be operated in concert with the Danbury, Connecticut office. Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE) worked with the building owner to design the 4,500 square foot office. The space features three loading docks, a large system staging area, conference facilities, and offices with room for expansion. From this office, like the others, ACE offers its wide variety of process control engineering, factory automation and information technology services to a broad base of customers in the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, consumer products, food & beverage, metals and air separation industries. The new facility further expands ACE’s capability to meet its customers’ needs for automation, process control and IT services. “Our customers have told us that they want a local presence. The Taunton office, along with the Danbury, CT office that we opened in 1997, increases our ability to serve customers throughout New England” stated ACE President Tim Cole. Incorporated in 1991, ACE has grown to more than 100 engineers and support personnel with more than 1000 combined years of control engineering experience. ACE also has engineering offices in Danbury, Connecticut; Houston, TX; Newark, Delaware and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a sales and support office in the Baltimore/Washington Metro area.
