FOR RELEASE: July 18, 2007

Newark, DE – Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE) has been Level 1 recertified in the Certified Member Program of the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA).  CSIA is an international organization representing member firms that provide more than $1 billion annually in industrial automation systems.  Currently, it is the largest organization in North America for independent control system integrators.

Certified Member status is conferred upon those companies who pass an extensive third-party audit covering seven areas of business execution.  ACE originally earned this distinction in 2004.  However, as part of the program it is required that Certified Members are reaudited every three years.  Level 1 sets the highest minimum passing score, and is required for ACE as it is one of the larger member companies.  This year, ACE was able to not only meet, but exceeded the standards and procedural requirements set by the CSIA’s “Best Practices and Benchmarks” committee.

ACE offers a wide variety of process control engineering, factory automation and information technology services to a broad base of customers in the air separation, biotech/pharmaceutical, chemical, consumer products, food/beverage, metals/mining, oil/gas/refining, and power/utilities industries.

Incorporated in 1991, ACE has grown to more than 100 engineers and support personnel with more than 1000 combined years of control engineering experience.  ACE has engineering offices in Newark, DE; Danbury, CT; Pittsburgh, PA; Houston, TX; Taunton, MA; and Quakertown, PA and an engineering sales/support office in the Baltimore/Washington Metro area.
