Newark, Delaware; Danbury, Connecticut: October 20, 2004 - Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE) has been recognized with Level 1 Registered Member status in the Control and Information System Integrators Association (CSIA). CSIA is an international organization representing member firms that provide more than $1 billion annually in industrial automation systems.

Registered Member status is conferred upon those companies passing an extensive third-party audit covering seven areas of business execution. ACE met and exceeded the standards and procedural requirements set by the CSIA's "Best Practices and Benchmarks" committee. Level 1 sets the highest minimum passing score, and is required for ACE as it is one of the larger member companies.

ACE has full service engineering offices in Newark, DE and Danbury, CT. Additionally, ACE has sales and engineering support offices in MA, MD and PA. ACE offers a wide variety of process control engineering, factory automation and information technology services including system evaluation, control strategy development, system implementation, start-up, training and validation services.

Incorporated in 1991, ACE intends to continue its growth in New England and the Mid-Atlantic States. ACE serves a broad base in the pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, consumer products, food & beverage, metals and air separation industries. ACE was named to the Inc. 500 in 1999.
