TAI provides systems on multiple levels of the manufacturing control pyramid. Sometimes systems reside entirely on one control layer, but most often TAI delivers systems that are vertically integrated across several control levels. TAI's control solutions are targeted to keep our clients competitive and successful.

Level 2
TAI is quickly developing expertise in several areas that have enabled our clients to gain a significant competitive advantage. One of these technologies is Batch Control. Batch Control systems are more flexible than typical "hard coded" systems thus allowing manufacturers to be more responsive to changing production requirements.

Intranet Based Solutions and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) are other rapidly developing technology that TAI is applying to the manufacturing sector. These networked systems provide a conduit to link many different repositories of information and make it available where it's needed most at the plant floor.

Level 1
Level 1 systems involve PLC, DCS, SCADA and PC based systems typically with a graphical operator interface. System functionality for the operating and maintenance personnel are TAI's prime concern. Level 1 tools provide for more efficient plant operation including graphical process representation, process and equipment alarming, historical trending, SPC charting and production reporting. SCADA systems allow data from geographically diverse areas to be centralized for more efficient monitoring.

Level 0
At ground level, TAI delivers solid engineering and design skills necessary to specify, design and install the primary control elements, "smart" instrumentation, custom control panels and other electrical devices required to run the process. TAI is well based in process control which is the foundation for delivering higher level, more complex control strategies and information solutions.
