Engineering Services & Construction
Since 1991, Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE) has been working with many of the large engineering design and construction firms around the country. We have found that with every project, customer, design firm, project manager and construction manager, there is a different set of requirements. Our size, wide range of industry experience, broad range of engineering service capability, and commitment to customer service helps guarantee that everyone’s delivery needs are met - making ACE an ideal partner.
Many times, these projects require complex and multi-tiered contracts. In some cases, ACE may work directly for the end-user. In other cases, we may be a subcontractor to the engineering design firm, construction manager, or even an electrical construction company. Regardless of the contract structure, ACE has many years of project experience with these arrangements allowing us to perform effectively in the design and construction environment.
ACE can provide a broad range of services to support all phases of your project. During the engineering design phase of a project, ACE typically uses the specialized skills we are known for to augment the capabilities of the A&E firm. Areas of expertise include control panel design, instrument specification, conduit & cable scheduling, hardware supply, loop drawings, system life-cycle documentation, DCS & PLC configuration, and acceptance testing. After transition to the construction and turnover phases, ACE engineers can support the full range of site activities including installation, loop checkout, instrument calibration, equipment startup, commissioning, and validation execution.
