Right Expertise & Experience
At Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE), we are familiar with the laws and compliance issues companies in the nuclear power industry face. Since 2007, we have been providing them with project support. In addition, many of our engineers bring experience with nuclear power from their previous employers.
Currently, ACE provides worldwide support to a wide range of nuclear power companies including Duke Energy, Exelon, PSEG, Southern California Edison, and Westinghouse Electric.
ACE understands that companies in the nuclear power industry are constantly working to balance economical, safety, and technical concerns. This balance is even more important due to recent natural disasters resulting in tighter rules and regulations.
At ACE, our commitment to fundamental good engineering practices, quality, and safety is reflected in both our Quality Management System and Safety Management System. This commitment results in the application of a methodical design, implementation, and testing approach to your critical applications.
ACE’s recent nuclear power project work has included designing custom plant chemistry systems, integrating personnel radiation monitoring systems, H2 monitoring and injection systems, and applying the principles of Human Factors Engineering (HFE) to HMI configuration.
Our team of engineers includes qualified procedure writers and those with NRC: 10 CFR 50.59 safety evaluation experience. In addition, we have the ability to perform procedure execution in both the Protected Area and Balance of Plant (BOP). For more information and to talk project specifics, contact us today.
